wet

Rob and I had today off. We went to Parmenter's Cider Mill. I took pictures of the ducks. Then it started thunder storming and raining pretty heavy so we took cover.

Today was day one of ferret bath day: Token and Pixel. Saturday they're going to their foster home (sniff.... sob.... sniff... sob.....). I thought that they should go their temporary home all nice and clean. The boys, however vehamently disagreed.

Token all snuggled up in a towel after his bath.

This is one extremely unhappy, wet ferret.

The Tiger's Win!

Rob and I went to the Tiger's game last night with my parents. We had decent seats and had great time! This was the second time we went to a game this season (I took my dad in July as a combined birthday/father's day gift.) I didn't feel like bringing my big camera, so I just toted along my little compact and took some fun pictures and video.

The view from our seats.

The fountains going off after a home run.

Tigers win!!

Post-game fireworks.

The Fox Theater as seen as we were leaving the stadium from the upper deck.

*sigh*

The apartment is oddly empty. The rats are gone. The piggies are gone.* The gerbils are gone. The ferrets are still here, but not for much longer. We have found someone who will foster them for us for the remainder of our lease. And even with the birds, the apartment seems dishearteningly quiet. There is no sound of clicking water bottles or the scurrying on a wheel that have become part of the background noises in our lives here. It's kindof lonely. And really sucky.

*Tammy is fostering the rats and piggies. We're still looking for a perma-home for them.
