A Road Trip of Ferrety Proportions

For those of you that didn't know, Rob and I went on a road trip yesterday. We drove nearly 700 miles round-trip (an hour and a half past Cincinnati and back). Why, you may ask. We decided to help out with a huge ferret rescue. The quick and short of it is that a very large scale breeder in Ohio could no longer take care of his breeder stock due to old age and failing health. This month he surrendered his ferrets to Ferret's Dream House Shelter in Lynx, Oh; all told, somewhere between 600-800 ferrets. Though we could not adopt many, Rob and I drove down with a donation of Totally Ferret food and the intention of bringing home a new friend. We brought home two sables, a young female about 6 months old and a male about a year old. Donations are greatly appreciated, and if you can help in any way, please.
