Goodbye, My Dear Trip

Trip took a sudden turn for the worse this morning. His breathing became extremely difficult and shallow. He became inactive, stopped eating, and just slept. We put him down this afternoon. We will be burying him in our friend Joel's yard. He has a spot in his garden next to an Easter Lily that is starting to bloom. For such a small kitten who was with such a short time, he leaves a giant hole in our heart.
